Followup on my "check engine" light problem. I used the "pin A to pin B" (not pin 1 to pin 8) jumper and found a code on my coolant temp sensor to ECM. Turned out to be a loose connection. Thanks...

First I've heard of a booster for the mechanical pump, I'll check it out. I think the electric pump will be ok as well, as it may run cooler due to the recirc. It is the original
design after all.

If you are talking about the offset on the rear wheels, I have front wheels all around on my formula so I can rotate the tires and there are no clearance or tracking probs.

There is a big flexible conduit in front of the a/c blower fan motor. I found the lead (green plastic protected knife connector) hanging under it.

I don't know for sure, but I'd say yes. If you think it's a problem with the new engine, I'd have a professional look at it first and then contact the people you got it from before any disassembly,...

Run the engine with the radiator cap off and the heater on til the thermostat opens to check circulation and for any backpressure that may indicate a bad thermostat. incorrect intake manifold gaskets...

Did you leave the cap off or is the drop in level in the recovery tank? Was the motor hot or cold when you did this test? Is that a new cap?

Hey. Shep. The screws down in front of the carb allow air around the closed butterfly valves at idle. A good way to adjust them is to open them both equally 5 turns and start the car ( warmed up )....
