I did not test the positive lead on fuel pump relay, I will figure out which is the + and test...

Can you give me a guess as to why the ECM would have fried (if it is) , like I said before it was running, I shut it...

I will change fuel pump relay, and pull chip from ecm and look for fan operation.

yes you are correct 305 was stock in the 85 Iroc I remove engine from, however it was replaced with a remanufactured 350
before I purchased.
