I've tried running the numbers but none add up, I know the 85s didnt come with the 5.7. I do have center bolt heads, my casting number on the back of my block doesnt match up with my engine stamp on...

Having trouble figuring out what engine is in my iroc here, the casting number is 1024C880 the C may be a 3 which comes up as either a L31 or ZZ4 but my engine stamp doesnt match either of those...

From what I've been told is that the distributor was placed in wrong or someone changed the number one cylinder? I was told I need to pull the distributor, stick a screw driver into the number one...

So did everything exact to the diagram in the book and it wouldn't start, wired it the way it was before and now it starts but wont stay running unless I keep on the gas and also runs very poorly

Yeah I was completely shocked when I saw it. I'm not sure if maybe the ECM programmed itself to fire in that order but that's what one of my buddies said could have happened

My guage jumps from 13 to 18 frequently and has been for a while but now it is bouncing from below 13 to just above 8 volts, I'm think alternator but both the battery and alternator are brand new....

It is flashing rapidly but when I use the pin method to get codes it doesn't give me any codes, I'm not sure what to do to fix this or what it could be
