What's the part #? I can only find double adjustable rears. $250 shipped is still high for used shocks with no warranty, when $80ish more gets..well new with a warranty.

​​​​​The 87 never ran, so when I say it "worked", I mean the clutch engaged and disengaged fine. I changed everything because the clutch was horribly burned and the 87 trans was In need of a rebuild....

As for the trans, I pulled it out and re did it that way, slid right in just fine but had the same issue.
Pulled it back out totally to check everything else + pilot bushing,...

Just pulled it apart, clutch is definitely not warped. TOB was still installed correctly, clutch not backwards.. clutch tool spins freely inside pilot.

Adjusted slave rod to move just as much as...

​​​​​​The pilot was a cheapo AutoZone "doorman help!" Type ones, I totally forgot to test fit it to the imput shaft or even grease it up. Would agree on not being optimistic though.

Wasn't fully pulled in with the bolts, only the last 1/2", and was done by hand instead of impact.
As far as pedals, they are third gen pedals. Everything came out of the same 1989 donor car,...

A little, but not fully. The last 1/2" was pulled by the bolts, was wiggling the damn thing with the clutch in for a good hour with no luck. Spose I'll try again

converted my 92 over to a t5, used new Excedy and the clutch/flywheel/hydraulics out of the donor.
Got everything in, but clutch will not disengage.
TOB is 100% installed correctly,...

Yep, its tilt, I think out of an 89? I needed all the electric bits, rest of it is mechanically good, just add a wheel and go.

Hell I've got one around that's kinda trashed, but it turns fine. No wheel, no key solenoid, no turn signal..etc. Hell, $10 to cover packaging and whatnot + shipping, pics here after I finish cooking...

It seems to have closed, and staying closed now, so I reckon that's good? Wasn't sure if it should be 100% liquid freon in the lines or not though.

It was indeed the pressure relief valve!
I put gauges back in and re filled it up, 35 low side, 250 high on a 90deg day idling at 400 rpm.
It blows cool. Not cold, but definitely cooler than...

Im not sure actually, didn't know they had a pressure relief valve.
Was sitting in traffic and saw a cloud of freon, enough to choke my carb and kill the engine.

I'm no expert, but definitely don't think doubling orings is ever a good idea.

I don't think so. Manifold gauges were showing 35lb low side, 250lb high side @ 86deg

It's the low side, the one coming off the drier.

​​​​​​Looks like you still have r12 fittings, the r134 stuff from parts stores won't work or fit.
