As I am not putting back heat, AC, emissions or any of that back in, has anyone eliminated any of those wires from the original harness? I have heard people taking all the original wiring out and...

Yeah thats the plan. I did the same thing with the battery patch, it came out pretty well all finished and primed.

While the motor is out, I am thinking it would be a good idea to replace the K member. I want to use long tubes down the road so that will provide more clearance, plus I'm just a sucker for new...
