Rockauto has dash pad covers if you have a dash in bad condition. I've had one on my dash for a while and you can't tell it's a cover.

It looks like you have a remanufactured canister. My vacuum lines go a little differently. My small line on my valve goes to my throttle body.

In your other post Bob88GTA said he thinks the mercury switch is in the bulb housing, unfortunately I can't confirm that. The fuse is connected to a 2 prong connector to get the power then routes up...

My car flags a 32 all the time. The only thing I haven't swapped out is the EGR solenoid, I have swapped out the EGR valve and the EGR temp switch. My car doesn't have a catalytic convertor in it...

If you can't find an installation manual you will probably have to spend some time in some wiring diagrams and reattach the wires going in to the system to the wires going out of the system.

I just took my trim pieces from grey to black and I used the gloss black. It doesn't seem to be too glossy. The carpet I replaced altogether instead of painting it.

When I did mine I sanded all the trim with 320/ 220 sandpaper, cleaned with soap and water, used some prep spray, adhesion promoter then paint. Everything seems to have held together pretty well.

That "wire harness" seems very sketchy. It looks like it's grounded to the block with a red wire. Tell what kind of engine you have and I can post a wiring diagram.
