I have a 82 Z28 383 400 turbo etc, from hamilton it has a 4th gen diff which was put in by previous owner because who wanted a discbrake rear end but it runs 4:11 gears which for pickup...

4th gen are 50mm(2") wider so aftermaket wheels need to have a minimum of +30 offset to avoid rubbing or looking like Joe Dirts car

hey hello I have a forth Gen rear end in mine, the biggest issues are around the width
although I'm running 8.5 x18s with a +30 off set on my rear wheels and havent looked back can supply pics of...
