I ended up taking it apart, cleaning it up and putting it back together. I haven't had a problem and have about 2500 miles on the car. Good luck

yes i can control the drivers side fan by changing the settings in the ecm but the other fan is controlled by a temp sender. I am just trying to share the info.

I known this is old but this sending unit will work. Spectra Premium FG20A Sending Unit for Chevrolet/Pontiac. EBay sells for 109 new. Summit Racing has them for 159.
