Hi, i have a 91 z28 with a 4L60 and the rear end was swapped out from the factory 2.73 to a 3.73. i installed a sgi-5 box and got it bang on to read the right speed while driving. at idle it bounces...

yes the electric motors burn out fast in them from the heat of daily driving. they are not hard to change but not sure of the cost, once mine burnt out I just left it cause it only lasted a few...

yep have to get them milled to keep the compression up and use a thin head gasket also to keep it up + the vortec intake

for a daily driver they are kind of a waste. i put one on my daily and they just get too hot and burn the motor out cause of that. lasted about 4 months before it was dead

I would say its a dead spot in the starter, see if you can tap it with something, I have used a broom handle before. just give it a few good bumps then try it out

if there was not put on I know they can burn up pretty quick, easiest was is pull off the distrubter cap and under the rotor its held down with 2 screws, back them off and u should be able to see or...

when this happened too me it was my ignition control module, when u replaced it did u put that dielectric grease on the metal under side of it?

i put an lt1 cam in my 91 and it works great in it, if u get alittle different rockers like the 1.52 you can get about the same max lift out of the stock lt1 and there cheap

that would be the best to get the right size chanbers but the 305 vortecs are not the same as the 350 ones, so imho the 80 canadain to get them milled is well worth it, gm would have made it easier...

it costed me about 80 bucks canadain to get them done here, you can get them milled .045 but then u have to get the intake side...
