Why would you do the intake swap if you have the whole motor? Especially on a 305? Just do a complete lt1 swap lol

I finally took off the oil pan this morning and the oul pump was fine. Hammerd on the oil pan to get it straight. Engine rotates perfectly... Hmm... Guess I'll know when I fire it up tomorrow haha.

Ok fellas I have diverside and pasenger side panels that go under the dash. Driverside is insulated passenger isnt. I switched to 96 4th gen dash swap do I dont need these anymore. Give me an offer...

Woot!! Reminds me of me when I got my first car which was a 77 camaro with a 400 sbc. That car gave me the knowledge I have now so to speak. One thing I learned about replacing suspension components...

Have you checked the connections at the starter? Check the wires around that erea to see if nothing butned up by the exhaust. Its happened to me before

Sub frame connectors and change out the stamped steel control arms and panhard bars at the rear. And torque arm. Google is your friend

I gatta get better at this. I have electric fans. I disconnected the headers, no ac. Spark plugs are out. My trans is a muncie. I had the trans in neutral when lifting. I lifted up the rear end...

Oops, I failed to mention I have the dizzy off haha sorry. Reason why I turned the motor over was to get TDC. Giod thing I did or id be deeper in the hole.

So I was ganna change out the rear main seal on my motor today. When I was lifting up the motor with a 2x4 and heard a shatter like glass. Well I couldnt take off the oil pan cuz if the skid plate...

Two of my friends have thirgens, and I wirk in their cars all the time... Well used to anyway... One drive a 92 rs eith a nice blue paint job and the other just aquired an 92 z28 with red faded...

That actually sounds like you are low on coolant. Air is going through the radiator while your driving causing you temp to cool down, and poor circulation at idle. Im not too sure but it makes sense...
