Ok thanks for the reply. My 3.1 i believe has a cracked head. It overheated on the way home when i bought the car pretty bad. Will the heads work if i were just to swap them with new gaskets?...

Will 4th gen ls1 long tubes fit in a third gen with an ls? I know they'll bolt to any ls engine but will they physically fit in a thirdgen swapped? I'm thinking about swapping a 5.3 in my firebird...

I got the 700r4 from a late 80s camaro 5.0 tbi. Since then the transmission has crapped out. I just recently just installed a 700r4 from a 92 roadmaster. I haven't drove it yet to see if it works now...

Yea. I don't wanna pay over 200 for the transmission. I'm getting the master and slave new. And pedal assembly online i can't find one locally. And then the console cover. And crossmember.

Yea. But not trying to spend over 200. There's one off of a 3.4 on craigslist for 75. Just need the belhousing for v8. But of course no phone number just email. So I gotta wait for a reply

Oh ok so do you think the nv trannys would work? If not then will a mustang t5 work? I know I'll still need the output shaft housing but do I need to change the input shaft?

update. i changed the pickup coil and still no spark. everything is hooked up the way it is supposed to be is the any pins on the ecu that give a spark signal that i can test?

Edit. I ran a test light to the white tach wire and it has constant voltage when plugged into the coil. But when it's unplugged it's dead. Its like the coil is completing the circuit from the pink...
