what should it run

1989 gta L98 with cold air, highflow cat, 327 rear. 80's series muffler. someone told me gta's run mid to high 16's. and some say 14's so i decided to post it.

i have owned to gta's one kicked down no matter wut speed i was at, but the one i have now only kicksdown at 20 and it wont downshift after that, do any of u possibly kno wut i can do to get it to...

car was completely stock in hot weather and the engine needed a tune up bad. 14.9 is so close to 15's it basicly is.

i dont kno where to put this under, but my car just wont downshift. its an 89 l98 and it just wont downshift. it upsets me, can anyone tell me wut it could be?

believe it or not i have an L98 gta and i raced a 305 tpi with a 5 speed. i only had him by a car length out of the hole so, dont think 305's are slow with little work they can keep up with a 350.
