So I took out the lifters. I dont know how how their supposed to be but 13 of them I couldnt move without a tool if I tried. I bought new ones just to be safe. I also drilled the pushrod holes...

I measured the old pushrod + lifter. The lifter is 2 and just a titch over 9/16 and the rod is 7 and just a titch over 3/16 so the total length i would need to accumlate would be a bit over 9.75. ...
