Thinking of trying these on my 83. They say 88 to 92 in the description but the drop compatabliity chart says they fit 83. Is there a difference in stock springs from 83 to 92? Don't want to get...

I have been digging around some more and found a youtube video about it too. Also determined the resistance for both the 83 and 85 sending units are 0 for empty...

I have a similar issue. Replacing the tank and pump on a 1983 Crossfire and need to replace the sending unit also. Looking at buying the hanger/ sending unit from an 85 to 92. They are very similar....

Also are there any pictures around of opening the rear TB to adjust the regulator. I have looked but don't see any. A few old posts about it but no pics.

If I use the higher pressure pump that comes with the sending unit I plan on buying will the factory regulator be able to handle it or willI have to get some aftermarket regulator to drop it first?

I could not find a listing for the sending unit/ hanger for an 83 so I think I will get this one. 85 to 92 TPI. It will need some mods but it has the 4 lines and three wires. I may have to swap my...
