quick update . in the meantime a lot of things have happened

enginge block is nearly done.oil gallerys clean, new camshaft plus bearings done . now i was digging into the Crankshaft....

I failed the german technical inspection test . they test your brakes on a Testbench ......it failed really hard ...almost no breaking...

also : does the key on pump prime (Fuel pump Relais circuit ) work ?

Because if not, only thing that kicks on your pump is the Oilpressure switch and that thing on...

Faced with this problem, I always ended up removing the heads. You have to remove a lot anyway. Disassembling rocker arms and springs in a confined space is torture.
( An easy job on the workbench)...

checked bore Diameter ... . roughly 3.7 ...ok
checked code on Block DDA matches to a 305 TPI LB9 from 86 ...... Car Vin does not match ....but this is no Problem for me.Better a good Engine...
