The problem appears to be that the housing piece is different so even if I can get all the mechanical stuff swapped it would be finding the trim piece and mounting bracket for the controls to the...

Well dang, the two answers I was hoping for was either:

1. No
2. Yes and the regular power seat setup would just swap in

I guess I will just be switching from power to manual recaro seats.

Did you bolt the shoulder bolts into the fiberglass hatch, and remove the old mounting points on the hatch?

Looking for recommendations on a good mechanic/shop to take my GTA to.

They were only on the notchback, a little longer then the regular ones and have a digger end connector on the end that connects to the hatch

Ok so unfortunately heard back from them today and they said that the notchback struts have loon been discontinued/not available, so back to square one.

Anyone have any other ideas?

I have had this car switched over to a carb and running great for a few years now and never have really bothered...BUT....

Took the whole harness out...

My car actually still as the support cylinder bracket...

I have an 88 GTA notchback that the previous owner put a normal rear hatch on...

I found an original fiberglass notchback...
