Be careful how far you lower it. The distributor is very close to the firewall. Doesn't take much to hit and damage it.

Thanks for the clarification. So you basically have two different sets of subframe connectors installed. Are they just run along side the rocker or stitched to the pinch weld? I have T-tops as well...

The hatch switch is probably tripped. When you put it back together did you notice the switch position? The hatch motor shaft has two small ears on it and that switch lever sits between those ears....

Mine is purely a street machine. I'll never race it. But that little T5 is stressed enough without the torque arm. I'll eventually swap it for a TKO. I suppose I don't need anything drag rated...

I'm likely just being picky. I'm going to try a custom piece to hold it up and if it works I'll put up some pics. You are right, the stock shifter had a ring on it.

I'm referring to securing the leather boot to the bottom of the shift knob. It's sloppy and always falls down. Usually is a jam nut type of setup. I think i'll fabricate something.
