Re: Need bass. No custom set up, just a git-r-done quick set up.

The 8" tangband sub in my car is really impressive with a true 100w amp pushing it. The box is quite small too (.5 cubic feet). You could make one in 20 minutes with a 24"×48" piece of 5/8" or 3/4"...

Re: Magnaflow or flowmaster exhaust?

Exactly my situation. I added a resonator to the FM 3" catback to try and tame down the drone.... Loud does not sound better or meaner just because it is louder. I replaced the 80 series with a...

I just bought an Alpine 7292s cassette pullout with CD changer control. I can just switch head units and leave the cage in the car....hopefully.

Re: Long time coming AKA My 91 Z28 Vert build thread

You may be over thinking the mig welded motor mounts "is a bad idea" option. Unless someone was a poor welder - which it does not look like you are ☺ I would not be so concerned.

I have built many...

Re: 87 Iroc-z convertible 5 speed....not a 5.0 TPI?

I have re-priced it at $11k USD - a reasonable price for a fairly low mile clean Iroc Vert 5 speed. I think for potential buyers that actually want a car to drive and enjoy, this combination is...

Re: 87 Iroc-z convertible 5 speed....not a 5.0 TPI?

Re: 87 Iroc-z convertible 5 speed....not a 5.0 TPI?

The casting on the back left side of the block says "GM 5.7LG SGI".

Re: 87 Iroc-z convertible 5 speed....not a 5.0 TPI?

Pretty hard to get a clear pic of the casting numbers on the back of the block But I will see if I can at least write them down.

I looked up the Holley AFPR and you are right that is the one.
