what i would do is , say if you needed the hole to be 10 by 10 for example I would cut it 9 by 9 and at the corners cut 1 inch in and fold all 4 sides over to form a bur free lip

converted from tpi to carb. went with holley street dominator and speed demon 650, with no air cleaner I can close the hood but not by much so I will have to get a cowl hood a 2 inch should do it

I have cut a hole to my fuel pump in an 88 iroc before it was not possibe to pull the pump strait up due to the angle of the fuel lines unless you was to cut them,if you cut you should clip them...
