Main difference I see between those cams is the LSA. If you are looking for something with a 114 LSA the Comp Cam 304-8 is pretty close to that with 210/220 duration and .51/.51 lift with a 114L

Call me biased but I would go with the AFR 180's for a mild 355. I have the angled heads and only have an issue with one plug being too close to the headers. I just run shorty plugs and use a Trick...

It is possible that the passenger side hose plugged into the wrong hole could be the culprit. The second port on the TB is for the Cannister Evac.

It ran ok without any tuning but I did a mail order tune from PCMforless. But I am currently looking at switching to EBL Flash as I think it could be better.

I suggest using a guidecoat. That is the best way to know if you still have low spots.
