That 10 bolt will hold up fine, my friends got upwards of 450hp in his monte carlo and has the stock 10 bolt, has the stock gear oil too, yikes! (Car's an 84).

I like the 9 inch personally. Your gonna shell out a bunch for both, so I'd suggest looking on ebay for a 9 inch since they have great deals on em there.
