absolutley no tuning involved, and yes you will need to buy a set of stiffer springs.

No I don't have any other vids with the exhaust on with that cam, but you're not going to get a choppy idle with anything under 214 in duration.

Yes, it will run with stock heads. When I had it in the car I had stock heads.

Well cs the car is no longer tbi it's carbureted, and I put a set of dart heads and a magnum 280h cam in it

I'm pretty sure it will, to my knowledge an lb9 block is a roller block.

yes it's still available. I never was able to get the car to a dyno so i'm not sure on actual hp increase. The lift on the stock cam is only 234 intake 257 exhaust, so it's a substantial difference...

That's actually about as big as you can go without any prom tuning. I ran it with the stock prom and it ran great.

I actually have yet to adjust the idle mixture screws, and the hesitation happens anytime when I floor it. The secondary spring that is in there is what came with the carb and it takes a while for it...

I recently installed a comp cam 280h in my 305 and I have a Holley 4160 600 cfm carb with the stock power valve,which is a 65. At idle in park I have 11 inches vacuum, and in gear I have 7-8 inches....

When switching from a hydraulic roller to a hydraulic flat tappet cam, it isn't necessary to keep the cam lock plate is it? Older style blocks didn't use them correct? Oh yeah it's a roller block lo3.

That's more along the lines that I was thinking, and maybe if I go ahead with the lt1 head swap my cam options will open up and it should be a bit more respectible.

I do have a pair of lt1 heads(cast iron), but there is only one intake option to go with that I know of if I do that.I guess if that's the only thing that I have to worry about, it might be worth it....
