IMO, a pick and pull rear axle wouldn't be worth it unless it was g80 limited slip. I'd keep an eye open on your local craigslist.

I just verified and the factory shifter bracket hits the 3" collector, along with the vband. I'll just have to get creative in routing the new b&m shifter cable.

Its not a huge cam, its a 235/242 cam with .621/.624 lift. I think it'll be fine with proper tuning.

I agree 100% but some people on LS1Tech run their Camaro's and Firebirds like that. Maybe its because the 98+ LS1 Fbody's have a returnless setup where the fuel is regulated in the fuel tank.
