if you run a positive to the wire leading to the trany you can manualy lock up stock converter as its acuated thru computer to lock up. just get a standerad switch feed it its own power then connect...

wouldnt it be eiser to go with a holly 750 double pumper and a msd 1 wire ignition dont need your computer that way

broken bracket

if you have a 305 the brackets are interchangable ,i used one off of a 1987 g20 conversion van. as long as its the same type and size engine. model doesnt matter

may not be youre problem but my 91 rs did the same thing i jumped the gray prime wire too a 12vlt source it started before the relay important to no location we found out the prime wire broke above...

check for broken wires mine did that they run under carpet through rubber gromit to top of your fuel cell too somtimes the wires stretch or break mine broke there too short

my 91 has same problem simply cut out the floor panel too solid metal braze in good peice from salvage and for frame cut back too solid metal wire feed some apropriat size tubeing
