Re: true duals no cats!

+1 for true duals over any y-pipe or x-pipe.

I just built up true duals with pypes m80s mufflers for my 357 with a mild cam and I can now chirp second which I couldn't with a single y-pipe...

Re: Knocking above 1900rpms

Yeah, it knocks with the exhaust on and with it off.

Not sure what would have caused carbon to build up with a motor that is only 8000 miles old. But it def isn't lean, the blms and ints are +or-...

Re: Knocking above 1900rpms

Took out all the spark plugs, found alot of carbon/flakey build up on the #3, replaced it, took all the plug wires off and tested them, 117-138ohm, took the cap off and noticed that one of the...

Knocking above 1900rpms

Re: Knocking above 1900rpms

It is, my base timing is set @ 6*, my advanced timing around the 1900rpm in third gear is 27-28* and I had it reduced 10* to 17* and it still knocks. Meaning it's not a too much timing issue.

Re: Standalone OBD-I Datalogger

I'd like it to be standalone, meaning I wouldn't need to hook a laptop up, just have a little screen that is permanently in the car.

I did look at that before tho, it looks like a nice system.

Re: Ideal Pipe Size for mild TPI motor

Reading over all the stickies and looking at other posts and sites, i've noticed that a 3" pipe is ideal for 350 that peaks between 5500-6500 rpms, so knowing that, wouldn't a 2.5" pipe be better for...

Re: Smell from exhaust

I'd have to say that 100 LL is the best smelling gas. Not that it's street legal or nething, do you have a cat installed? It'll stink if you don't have a cat.

Ideal Pipe Size for mild TPI motor
