Well, my job sent me to texas for 6 months, so there was a delay in the project. but im back on track now. I picked up a n/a 2jz to fab everything up with, also it had the rear sump oil pan I needed....

well its been a while, and there has been much critism and indecision, but the 4.3 spun a rod bearing while I was pulling out of my street sideways... so the 2j swap is underway.

I daily drive a 4.3 3rd gen. I did the swap myself, the only thing I had to change was the computer... Aside from some exhaust work. I was driving an hour a day to work and back on less than 40...

the car is slightly less than 200hp, so a 300hp 2jz would be fine by me i'm not racing it. as i said before it is my daily driver, i drive almost an hour each way to work and would love nothing more...

i know the 4.3 is an amazing motor (and makes for perfect weight distribution), that is why i went with it in the first place. and i can figure out the turbo manifolds. the main thing that is holding...

i did 35 all the way down, with a 5% strip that comes half way down, and 5% on the side and back. i haven't had any visibility/drive-ability problems and i'm daily driving.
