looks like I will be putting the 85 trans am in long term storage again. I was spending too much of my one day a week off working on it rather then actually driving a hobby car.

I wasn't sure how to install the balancer and distributer. so my 85 trans am is delayed till next spring :(

I sold my 80 and 81 trans am. with the money from the 81 I bought a 1994 corvette....

mell is an engineer lol. she figures out where power lines and other things go in towns and citys. something like that hard to understand. im a photographer so I know how to take complementary...

shes 27 but ill stop sharing if it bothers people. im more trying to restore my car with some help from you guys as I havnt done a lot of the work im doing before.

I didn't try the distributer and balancer. still unsure about it.
I tried to install new t-top weather seals and headliner. because its c&c I have to use a hardtop headliner and cut out the t-top...

yes your right I should clean the engine bay. will try to tomorrow

I only get one day a week to work on the car so its going slow

im hoping to put the rear end and other new parts in the back...

its a gm crate 350 for pre 86 cars. nothing special but 100 more hp than what came in the car lol.

it was a Canadian 1985 lg4 carb car. they did not come with computers. no wires to the carb...

The t-tops are c&c
I was able to find a complete new nos weatherstripping kit for them
So will be a huge help in keeping the car sealed up for the future.

I bought a gm crate 350 for it so...

got a chance to work on the car again yesterday
I took out the carpets front and back.
took out the seats. have to steam clean them
I used simple green germicide cleaner on entire metal interior....

im guessing the first 5 years it was in the garage. the next 10 or so years on concrete pad. and last 3 years in the grass. the last sticker on the plate was 1993. so yes it has not been driven...

yes as a kid i was constantly spraying it with rust proofing oil. it was driven in the winter for a couple years there in the late 8o's early 90's. probably another...

thanks for the reply. it has the lg4 305. it has no air pump or computer from the factory. its a Canadian car. no plug of wires going into the carb or anything. this will make it easyer to put...

i used a Suzuki tracker to pull it out. the trans am is missing some engine parts.
to get it out my father had to cut down some small trees

i have some NOS new in box 1LE rear calipers if your interested. $50 each. both right hand or left hand so you have to bleed before bolting on.

yes all left side. right side would have to be bled upside down before mounting. the threads are the same on both holes as well.
