I swapped one of these into my 85 years ago, I had the hurst comp plus shifter too. It’s a great piece! Sometimes I wish I still had my setup. Good luck with the sale!

i posted pics with the crossover in the rear, and not in the rear. the issue is the rails and and the lower manifold. there is absolutely no clearance for the vortec style distributor.

I get that, I having a hard time convincing myself that this won’t work though.....in theory, the regulator should not bypass excess flow=pressure unless the fuel rail, as a whole, reaches 43ish psi?...
