Ok Paul. You have been super helpful on this thread. Thanks a million. If I do go with 17s, here's what I'm thinking: 17x9.5 on all four corners, 275/40 on front, 315/40 on rear.

Ron, I'm going for the 1/4 mile look. I love the look of bigger rear wheels-more muscle car looking I think. I don't like the look of a lot of rim and small tire, I prefer more tire and less rim....

That seems to be the right part. It is the part that fits in the tank and reads the fuel level and sends it to the fuel guage in the dash. I have a 350 V8 5-speed tran.

It's rusted and ruined. I fixed the gas tank and coated the inside, but the sending unit is ruined. Any suggestions on where to find a used one?
