Can anyone tell me what application to ask for at the parts counter to get a cs 130d alternator that has the same case mounting as the cs 130 that will fit the 89 serpentine bracket?

:thanks:

Re: TPI Throttle Bodies (not size)

Hmmmm ok, kinda leaning towards the summit one for $250. It says it has hand fitted butterflies. 90 day warranty vs BBK one year warranty, but also $60.00 less. Anyone running a BBK? Do you like...

Re: Is it a Crate 305 or 350?

Re: windage tray

Not sure if it would work or not but the L31 vortecs came with a factory setup that uses 3 studs for the crank bolts. You might try to find one of those at your local wrecking yard. I wouldn't...

CC Beehive spring retainer differences

Can anyone here tell me (Comp Cams Can't) if the installed height of the 918 Comp cams spring is different with the 787 retainer vs the 774 retainer on a vortec head?

I originally ordered the 774...

Re: L31 timing chain and cover ?

That would be great if that is the case. As far as the damper goes...it looks the same but I don't have one off an early syle sb to compare with right now, or an early crank to compare with either. ...

L31 timing chain and cover ?

Hi I'm putting together an L31 and I won't be using the ignition with the crank sensor. I would like to change the single roller chain and gear set-up to a double roller set-up but the double roller...

Re: Camshaft Question...

I have used this cam (or rather one with the same specs) in a 283, two 350's and a 400, all carbed. IMO it is a great cam and a very good choice for your 305, considering what you are looking for. It...
