If you can find a full electric mirror,then you can cut the wires and just move the mirror around. The gears may pop but they will definitely hold in place. It's what I'm going to do to help clean up...

That Ferrari one doesn't look like it hings at the top like yours does. It looks like its just a trunk lid for the Ferrari conversion. The design is pretty close though.

Mine was so I cut out some cardboard poster board parts and put it where the part had ripped out. I just used Tacky Glue to secure it, then I glass resined all the cardboard.

I took all the cloth off mine and covered the entire thing with glass resin then threw on some dark primer after all the resin cured. It's a huge difference!!!
