Thanks Joe. As far as the hardware goes, a lot of them that required a through bolt and a nut for body components, etc, I ended up just ordering a bunch of Metric hardware through McMaster-Carr...

See, I thought the same thing, I contacted Hawks about the chip, since it's a piggy back chip and uses the original PROM from the car that all i need to do is set the timing to 6-8 with the EST...

Thanks Orr, i will take a look at it tonight, im still a little confused on which is the est wire though, at the dist i have the tach, ground and 3 prong on the cap and then there is the 4 or 5 pring...

Were around 11 degrees at idle, i did not disconnect the est though while setting the timing.

Thanks guys, i've checked the inline fuse near the battery, its still good. I will attempt to check the voltage tomorrow and attempt to jump the relay. Does anybody have any input on the ECM ground...

86 IROC, original 5.0 TPI, engine swapped out to a 383, kept the tuned port, still running the 9th start and EGR, removed all AIR and smog system.
