thats what I did. I rented one from Advance Auto. The one for coil springs only. It seems to be good quality so hopefully it will do the job. I'll give it a go tomorrow and post what happens.

Nevermind guys. I cleaned the connector with electrical connector cleaner and it works now. Must have gotten something in it when I was foolin with the rubber oring.

I had the same problems. Turned out my coolant was leaking into the combustion chambers and on top of that. I had a leaking injector. thus causing the white smoke that smells like gas.
