I found a good deal on some 29x9 hoosier drags, I put them on my 10" rim with 5.5 backspace they fit no problem with the exception of the rear caliper. I had to run a spacer because the wheel hit. ...

just my opinion, and I could be wrong, but 295 seems like theyd be a bit tall for a 342 gear, I'd think youd be better off with the 255 anyway.

I had a 700r4 in an 89 for a while, It had about 130000 miles on it. NOt sure if it was ever rebuilt but it did have a b+m shift kit and I put in a 2400 stahl converter. I sprayed the hell out of it...

Now I'm told that a hoosier QTP in a 27x 11.50 actually has a larger foot print than an ET 28x11.50, or even a 28x12.50 for that matter.

Hoosier 27x11.5 =10"tread width

When you open the door and measure at the back, its 3 inches tall (where it contacts the door) and at the bottom it measures about 1.5 inches out from the door. Hope you have it!!

What area do you live in? I had a guy in Jeannette paint mine, he's reasonably priced, and responds well to CASH!! He did a real nice job on mine, hope to have it back together soon.
