what size hole would i have to drill in the new air cleaner base to install that IAT sensor correctly. Mine isnt plastic its the metal one with the metal ring around it with the little metal tabs...

The cap, rotor, ignition coil and ignition module are brand new as of like 3 months ago. Could timing realy throw everything off though? Maybe the egr command?

During a cold start I get a missfire when the engine idles up but it has all new plugs, new wires, cap, rotor and ignition module

I thought of that but I'll still feel more successful if I fix the problem ya know? I want to try to keep everything original. I mean honestly id take the bulb out of the cluster for the check engine...

Ok cool, so if I'm getting power from all if the other components in the same circuit then that should be fine right? So I need to check the ground from the ECM (gray wire) I can just hook a test...

@schurkey. I understand but I don't have a manual ATM. I'm just trying to do what I can to get my car running decent again. I went to local Autoparts stores and they don't have any. So I ordered one...

I haven't checked for a break in the wire yet. It just sucks. Do you know off hand what voltage I should be getting from the connector terminals?

I've been battling a code 32 for a few months now. No matter what I do I keep getting an intermittent code 32 after about ten mins of driving. I replaced the egr valve and solenoid. No vacuume leaks...

Ok. So I had a bad ignition module, and iac. The ignition module wasn't allowing the car to prime fuel at start-up. Then after I got the car to run the iac took a dump on me. So I got a new iac. Runs...

I have to do the plugs still, but it won't start at all now unless I treat the car like it's carborated and feather the gas while cranking. It's 30 degrees here in jersey and the idle won't come up...

Vats malfunction will NOT even let the car crank. If the engine cranks then vats is fine. Vats problem will almost act like the battery is dead and won't engage the starter. The ECM gets a signal...

I did not check codes. And I'm pretty sure the vacuume lines are ok. Egr may be faulty. I did have an egr code when I first bought the car

Well I do understand a slight tap is normal because of the fact that your opening up a sealed engine so the little bit of "pressure" keeping oil in the lifters drains out and has to pump back up...

Well, I found the tapping. Sure enough, there was a longer stud in the wrong spot that was up against a push rod. Luckily the push rod wasn't bent. I corrected the problem and the tap is gone....

I gotcha. It's just so overwhelming. I am mechanically inclined. But this is getting stressful. It's hard to try to learn through the process and try to figure out what got messed up

I CAN tighten the rockers down if they are loose, but, it was fine before I started. Unless driving the car without proper timing and backfiring like I did bent something? But I mentioned the plug...
