To clarify: the car is perfectly driveable. The starter is an issue when the car is hot (as stated above) and the water pump is only weeping from the drip-hole.

Totally agree. I was at one time optimistic that the IROC would be a solid track star, but I'm about 20 years late. Plus, I'd be heartbroken if I put the IROC in the wall.

I also finally finished my fluid lines. Brake lines installed, tight, and system bled. Clutch bled (and works)! And fuel lines tightened and secured.

The fuel lines were a real pain in the butt....

Also finally got the strut tower brace modified. In the end, I just cut and flipped the end on top of the alternator - all I needed was ~2" of additional material to cover the gap.
