JCI show in Humble (Sat. 2/28/04)
If it's dry and the weather is fair, I may take the Z upto the James Coney Island car show Saturday night (2/28). Is anyone interested in going?

If I can't find a helmet by Friday, I'll try to swing out there. If I do find a helmet though, I'm gonna be getting some times on my car at Ben Bruce Raceway Park.
BTW Mike, I went to my uncle's house this weekend and looked through the parts I have from my Mustang and I really don't have any parts that would help you. I have some cougar tail lights but they're rough. All the other parts are either A. really rough or B. coupe specific. I'm gonna ask around though as my Uncle has parts for his 67 Cougar (some stuff is interchangable) and 2 of our friends have 67 coupes. I doubt they have anything though as they got most of thier parts from me
Didn't mean to get your hopes up. I forgot that when I sold my Mustang this past summer I told the guy he could have any parts he wanted and he basically took all my good usable stuff.
Would you be interested in an aftermarket underdash A/C set-up? I know someone who has one but again, it has a couple pieces missing and I doubt you'd want A/C in a weekend car if you're looking to make all the power you can...

I'll make it
I don't have a car full of mods, but I would like to go just to hang out and meet some new folks. Having a dog or two is also worth the trip... (is it lunch time yet??)

About what time does everyone meet out there?

Aaron -
Thanks man... I've been kinda buzy myself.. but things are starting to slow down enough that I'll have plenty of time next week and next weekend. Just let me know. PM coming your way.
Thanks

I may come out there just so I can collect on the burger that Hitman owes me on trade for the OEM alum radiator. (well if it is at JCI--maybe a couple of hot dogs!)

The show was moved to a new location in Humble (on 59 N feeder close to 1960), however, I heard it was moved back to JCI on 1960 (Humble area, original location) recently.
Just pray for good weather.

UPDATE ::::
The show has been moved to the Sonic on FM 1960 (close to Aldine-Westfield). Aldine-Westfield is about 6 or so miles from the JCI in Humble (still on FM1960, just closer to I-45).
Sorry for the confusion!! If you need directions, post on this thread and I'll give you directions.

Yes, it's on 1960 between 45 and 59.
While on 1960, the closest cross street is "Aldine-Westfield".
If you are standing on the corning of Aldine-Westfield and 1960, you can see the Sonic and all the cars.
Directions: Take I-45 to 1960. Take 1960 and head torwards 59. While on 1960, when you get to the light at Aldine-Westfield, pass Aldine-westfield and immediatelty look to your left. You will see the Sonic.
Scott92_RS might bring his 92 RS with a stealth-ram 406ci !! We've been working on that beast for several months!
Again, pray for good weather!

Congrats! Tell you little woman I said congrats too!
Yea, I've been trying to talk Scott into bringing his car to the show. If he doesn't have plans with Amber, he'll be there.
I'll be there if the weather is good.
See you guys there!
Remember, the show has been moved to Sonic burger parking lot (On FM1960 close to the FM1960 and Aldine-westfield intersection).
See ya!

omfg!!! >)
I don't know if I'm going to be able to go tonight.
I got into a little fender bender last night! (well not that little!!!)
Some drunk guy ran a red light and smashed my driver side front fender!!!! I am pissed!
The worst part is he doesn't have insurance!!!
So I am either going to have to pay my deductible for my insurance to fix it, or go out and buy the parts myself and fix it!!!
It's not driveable due to the broken radiator!!!

YEAH REALLY!!!
I was there until about 8--Rocky was there in his Vette and there were 2 guys there with third gens that I don't remember their names. One was a nice looking white RS and the other was a red/black one.
Hit man-- I still want my double Cheeseburger!
We went to the Woodlands show--saw a guy with a nice black RS (again don't remember his name, that I thought was 1bad 91 Z at first, but turned out not to be. Real nice guy--we talked about each others car for a while.
One good tip I got from that guy was that you can go to a junkyard and get a 4.10 (maybe 4.30) rear end carrier/gear out of an Izuzu pickup, that is GM, that bolts in third gen for about 50.00. Nice to know if you are on a budget like many of us are!
So where were You guys ???

This is why I hate being away at school. Hopefully I'll be able to check out some gatherings over Spring Break, definitely over summer leave. I've got some tricks up my sleave for my car, should help out quite a bit

Sorry guys, it was gloomy and drizzling a little on my side of town, I only drive the car when it's nice out. Plus, my little woman came home early from work (not feeling well), the main reason why I stayed home. So, I apologize that I missed you guys. If this coming Saturday is nice, I will be at the same Sonic burger show from 8 to 9:30.
Again, sorry I missed you guys. We'll try to hook up this next Saturday if the weather is nice.
