Im in Enid, Anout an Hour or so away. Just to let you guys know I dont own a 3rd gen yet. Im looking at one right now, Im suppose to go test drive it saturday and if it all is good its mine. Kinda high priced but if it runs good its worth it.

Cool. I know where Enid is, we have a guy in our club with a 4th Gen that lives in Enid and drives down when he can for meetings and what not. You are more than welcome to come down to one of our meetings if you would like.

hey the car im looking at looks ver close to the one in the picture that says ThirdGen.org Message Boards. The brown camaro thats what it looks like. I also found another one for sale, they want $1995 for it, it says fuel injection on it so can I assume its a v8. the interior excellent on it seats are in mint condition. just the dash pad is cracked to hell but I can buy a new one if I get this one. Out sides straight and paints nice for except the front end is red and from the doors back is maroon

I will keep an eye out for you. As for the fuel injection thing...v6s are also fuel injected. It all depends on the year of the vehicle as to whether it is fuel injected or not.

Hey great news man. Ive been still been keeping an eye out and found a 1987 transam/firebird. The paints clean on it its new and shines, it isnt the greatest but looks good and shines. The interior decent, need dash cap and new seats and it be fine and best of all its got a 350 and it tuned port injection. I guess it might have orginally came with a 305 but the guy says its a 350 and has a new transmission. has the multi spokes rims, the tires sim kind of skinny but thats fine and the wing needs fixed but its great, tomorrow i go to test drive it

Hey all!! I am in Oklahoma. Have been a member of these boards for a while, but have just started posting in the last few days.

I am living in Ponca City and working in Enid!

I have two 3rd gens... a blue 82 Trans Am and a Red 91 Trans Am.

How many f-body groups are there in Oklahoma. I drove to OKC a couple months ago after I purchased my 91. My wife and I ran into a store for about 5 min. I came back out and had a COFBA flyer on my windshield!! I thought that was cool, but haven't joined yet because of distance and busy schedule. I am really looking now to join one! Any suggestions????

Anyway, ... I contacted the Enid Fbody site.. probably going to join or at least be involved with the group. Also looking at the Central Oklahoma FBody Association. COFBA. They do a lot of cruises and going to Noble, OK, to the drag strip. Those guys look like they have a bunch of fun!

hey all, im new to the site and it seemed like i couldnt find anyone from around the oklahoma area until i found this. lol guess thats what happens when you dont look hard enough. where does everyone cruise at night around ok? i live in tulsa and go to Memorial every once in a while. a tulsa or surrounding area get together would be sweet. i just recently bought a 92 RS but have an 85 Monte SS that i cruise in. I love them both though.

You should come out and check out TFCC (Tulsa Firebird and Camaro Club). We are having our monthly meeting tomorrow starting at 11am and ending when it ends . We are holding this one at Tulsa Dyno and Performance on 11th and Mingo. Would be great to have more 3rd gens in the club .

hey all you enid folks. is there still a black with white racing stripes. 91 rs driving around there. that was my old roomates. if anybody remebers anything from like 3 years ago I was rollin around there in my 85 z. it is white. it had a blue and white cowl hood and a 4" 92z style spoiler on it. It was pretty loud. I worked at northcutt. anyways wish I was still around I would join you guys for a cruise or something.

if you ever passed my house in enid you would have known it cause there were always 3 f bodys sitting out front. the 91rs, my 85z, and my now wife's 97 firehawk. any ways have fun.
most of you all probably don't rember this but the original national thirdgen gathering was at noble back in the summer of 99.

was up. we still have all the cars thats in my sig. ambers dad gave up the 99. I think he got pissed at pontiac or the dealer or something like that. all of our fbodys are in elk city. I was gonna tell ya that your 91 looks really good. so hows the little brothers and the parents.

Hey Amanda. We had the gathering that you tried to get together...but you didn't show up .....remember it was suppose to be in Tulsa (which it was) and we had like 5 people show up including Jeff (minus his black beast)

That would be fun to do we should do that. There is never really any respect of our cars from people. So that would help us out alot i think.

No one ever got on and posted at a regular basis so I gave up. I'm willing to try and get our 3rd gen car club going again if y'all are willing to do it.

Well, I got it done at Ponca Body and Paint here in Ponca City, OK., after I got hit by a red 98 Firebird in the driver door/sail panel area. It looks great from a distance, but up close it needs some touch-up

I will be taking it back to the shop to have some things finished on it.

I would recommend Bill Correll's Paint and Body here in Ponca for anyone wanting to have work done, although I am not sure how long it would take for him to get to ya for a restoration job. Usually the guy has a 1-2 month waiting list!!!!!!!!!! But he does awesome work
