I will definitelyt be there. LIke I said, its about a 1 minute drive from my house. In fact I will probably be there twice, once with my car, then go get Max's car and come back. Hey, guy from the other thread with the Camaro that lives on Mason Rd apartments, please come down too so we can see your car.

Larry Dunlap, Camaroz29 and his girlfriend (sorry I don't remember your names), Coz305 and Sue and I all showed up. Barry was supposed to show, but did not. We all ended up messing around a little bit on the slot car track--they were on the rent car track with rent cars and I was playing on the big track and buying some parts for a new car I'm building to run in the Fri night class. We all probably split around10 or so--don't really remember exactly.

I wil be going out there almost every Fri night--maybe we can do some more of the "mini-meets" with a little more notice for everybody. For that matter, maybe we can start a Fri night cruise-in car show for all kinds of cars--who knows!

Sounds good to me, it couldn't be any closer to where I live! On a down side though Larry came to check out my car and I broke my rear hatch pulldown, talk about a PITA. I had a good time and suprisingly so did my girlfriend, she loved the slot cars.

I didn't make it out this past Friday. Had to leave for San Antonio. But I will definitely try to swing by on a Friday night that I DON'T close the store. Y'all should stop by my store sometime. Barry always comes in there and chats it up with me.

Yes--they do have rent cars. About equal to rent go karts compared to real go karts==pretty much Sherman tanks to stand up to all the abuse they go thru.

They also sell new cars--have all the support parts for them--can custom build cars--have organized weekly races for several different classes.

I am starting to run in the Fru night races at 9 this Fri, and will be running in the Tx series below.

There is another Texas Championship Points race at the end of the month. Sept30/Oct 1st--Sat/Sun--Probably about 50/60 people for that one. 4 classes on Sat--3 on Sun.

We tried the rent cars on the novice track, it was a lot of fun. All the pros were saying the rent cars are like really slow, but it was all I could handle. I couldn't hardly see the cars on the fast track, let alone drive one.
