Kicked some Viper Butt at Lonestar
Well sort of, it was a dodge truck with a V10 viper motor, but I soundly thrashed him.
I went out to Lonestar Sat afternoon with my girlfriend who is here from Peru to show her what drag racing is. It was a pretty cool afternoon, so I made a few T &T runs. I was shocked at the times really
first 60' - 1.7376 (like .14 better than best ever)
1/8 - 8.104 , way better than best ever, like .4
1/4 - 12.7828, killed my previous best of 12.998
mph - 104.75
This was the race withe viper truck, he ran a 13.3 but with 106 mph, finally got it moving
second - 60' - 1.7731
1/8 - 8.187
1/4 - 12.8874
mph - 104.34
I ran the same first 1/8 almost, but the second 1/8 sucked, felt like I shifted to soon, and the car ran out of power at the top end.
Anyway, Im firmly in the 12s now. The temperature must have made the difference, I was a very surprised at how big of a differnce, pleasanlty so of course.
Lets RAce dudes!!

Its a Continental brand, 2800 rpm stall. I got it when I got the TH350. It is supposed to be a decent brand. The car is set up just about perfect now for the 1/4 mile. With the 3.73 gears and this tranny and motor addons, Im just reaching 5500 rpm at the finish.

Yeah, I have always liked the setup on your car Larry. Nothing to flashy just a nice, simple, well put together combo that puts up consistantly good numbers.
