Need 2 rear firebird or Camaro wheels in Houston area

I need to buy a couple of rims that I can put some street tires on to get to the dragstrip or just cruise around. Fit 91 Firebird, 16", two rear rims.

hey..long time no see. I thought you where going to sale your car?
I need to check but I think I have some 16" riken rims I will give you.
I ran these on my car back in the 90's.
you just have to pick them up from the hobby airport area.

you planning on going to the drag strip anytime in the next few months?

If you want lightweight wheels for racing, I had 2 rear GTA crosslace wheel. Zero curb rash, zero peeling paint or clear. Run straight & balance true.

I haven't been driving the car hardly at all. I put out some feelers on selling it, but is it so modified that it would have to be someone like me who wants an extra car to go to shows or drag strip. Main problems for a daily driver are TH350 tranny with no overdrive (60 mph on the freeway at about 3000 rpm), and no cats. I guess Im just going to keep it. Trouble is it was sitting in the garage and one of the Hoosier drag radial went flat. I took it to Firestone to see if it could be repaired and they just kind of laughed. It is not worn out but I think the rubber is getting bad just from sitting.

I was going to get some regular tires and put them on different rims, but since the Hoosiers are history I just decided to buy two Nitto DRag radials and put them on the same rims. They have more tread than the Hoosiers and last about 15000 miles, but for this car that might be 15 years.

I don't have any insurance, inspection, or registration so Im keeping my trips short, just kind of around the block to keep it in condition.

I would like to go the drags again. How is your car now?

Hey Larry, glad to see you kept it. I might have 2 RS wheels sitting in the shop if you don't find anything else.

I hear you on the car just sitting. Mine's been parked in my parent's garage since May. Should be getting it back on the road over Christmas break, but I won't have it with me again until I get down to Corpus Christi later this year.
