I've promised my kids Ice cream at Sonic on Harbison at 6PM, so I guess I'm commited to that. (tonight, Fri) I can get there a little earlier and try to save a few spots together if anyone else is interested.

Still pushing for late afternoon on the 9th as far as a monthly goes? It gets my vote.

Bob, I think most people are talking about getting there around 730. Gives them time to get off work, home to shower and get ready, and come out. And so it's not so hot either.

My is for the 9th after 4, or the 10th after 1:30. As hot as it's been around here I've learned the later in the day the better. Since I'm new to the area I certainly defer those that know the topography as to where.

If you hold it, they will come. (If they don't their loss) I just realized that this will be the 2nd Sat of the month. Does this give us the option of doing our own thing or being part of a bigger thing and having our own subset?

This Sat is the FatBoy's Cruise In. While I'd rather have our own 3rd Gen meet, we can still meet up there and show together.

well the 9th is also the day that the fat-boys cruise in happens over on my side of town, that being said, there is pleanty of parking at the fat boys cruise in if we get there early, say round 5 or earlier.

We can be part of a bigger cruise in if we do that. if not, we go somewhere private we're our own small group, and well times a ticking away quickly.

I guess we should start an Oct thread. Now that the weather is getting cooler, we can eat out by our cars. I'm going to Wild wings tonight and would be happy to have company. I've extended my vacation 45 days, so I'll be around for a few get togethers.

btw, my other hobby is toy trains, the next time anyone gets hassled for loving their autos and says cars are too expensive have them check out this recent ebay auction : 110036061697
