Re: Pensacola, Destin area?
Im over here in Crestview. There are some of us around. I don't know of any f-body or specific 3rd gen clubs but check these sites out. www.gulfcoastmuscle.org and www.injectedvids.com There are a lot of f-body people on those boards. Gulf Coast Muscle actually just had a meet last Frirday at the Sonic in Crestview. Well it was at the Sonic till they called the cops on us and we got kicked out So we went to Hooters instead Had 20+ cars. Here are some pics.

Re: Pensacola, Destin area?
That is a decent turn out. We meet at Sonic here in Tallahassee every 1st Sat. and usually have 40-60+ cars. There are not very many 3rd gens here, but a few F-bodies if you include 2nd & 4th gens. I thought at one time there was a NW Florida Fbody site, but not sure of a club. It might be cool to start one, maybe meeting in PC or somewhere in between.

Who are you in that self-described dirty black Formula in downtown Pensacola today? You on here? Others in the area need to be checking out the monthly Pensacola cars and coffee event every 4th Saturday, 8-10AM on Davis Hwy.

Re: Pensacola, Destin area?
There used to be a club active somewhere back in 2014 called Gulf Coast Thirdgens. I have no idea if they are still actively meeting or not. Been about 6 years since I last had any contact with the club. They had a forum too...

I think I remember that coupe. Glad to know it's still being enjoyed.
If your early Saturday morning is free, the Cars n Coffee event is this weekend. 8-10 AM, Davis Hwy at the big strip mall with the indoor trampoline place (new location). I'm going as it's been a while since I brought my Z28 over. Did I meet you and your wife at a previous one before? If not, maybe another time.

Re: Pensacola, Destin area?
There was also a guy that met with a 1992 B4C RS. I sold him a pair of doors to repair his other car.
Also a Black TA that was daily driven. Body kit was damaged from parking lots.
I wish I could remember the names of the guys.
One of the events I went to was the Destin 5th annual F-body meet. I didn't have a running car at the time. One I have was and still is a total parts bin. It's been freaking me out these past couple of days. If I ever did go to a meet again I'd show up in my W-body. I don't have anything else more interesting in good enough shape that runs.

I have a strange feeling that I remember your car if I have it right. Blue IROC with the LS swap. Had been recently painted at the time I last remember. I think you were car of the month some years back.

I've never been to the Destin gathering. Need to check it out sometime. Perfect distance, drive and location.
You'll have to elaborate on that "freaking me out" part sometime.
Our cars are cool to have present but for me, it's the people who have a history with our gen, the memories to share that I enjoy most. Drive up in a Yugo for all I care.

Brian, Jeff (I think), and Steven (other quoted member). Seems like ages ago but your memory seems sharp.

Still 4th week. Glad you could make it and catch up with you some. Went to the "Whitebook" to refresh my memory. Clocks did end in my year with a paltry 809 installed. '82 the big year with 14grand, followed by two years of roughly 2k each year. For nostalgia sake I will put in that AM radio it came with that triggered the clock.....someday

Those aux ports feed off the cassette or the CD wiring to my understanding. Im sure there is a way around that, but it wont be my awful electrical wiring knowledge. I think a separate Bluetooth transmitter might be the ticket for me with AM only headunit.Ill eventually post in Car Audio forum and see what the population says
Gulf Shores is a sweet beach town and is no longer a secret. I live in Baldwin County just far enough away to avoid the crowds but close enough to go for crab catching/shell findings with young son before sun sets.

It all depends how you wire it. Mine is wired though the radio when you plug it up.
