Mind you they all have different body style, if you take enough time to notice. Every team built their own... a lot of variety in styling just among 3rd gens...

Yea, that bird or ta got some size on them, look like 375's rear or something (comparing one's I saw on '97 McLarenF1 GTR Longtail)
I don't like Nascar stuff, so everything here is NOT oval racing... It's more like GT racing. In some pix u can see a label GT1 on some cars - race class long banned from races :-( FIA said too much money being spent to race GT1's and that they're overpowered in some aspects ( late 90's), But these are Trans-Am race series.

Dude, you're my freakin' hero, I was looking for post of 3rd gen trans-am cars. I love those body styles. Do you happen to know if any of those were taken in St.Pete, FL? I worked the pit fire crew there for years and also for the champ car race.

Someone should throw some hood louvers on this hood, http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/in...l?v=1&pid=6948 and add a 5" iroc spoiler. Maybe someone could do a photoshop on a "street" car???

Those are real nice racing shots.
Up here in La Crosse, someone is still using a Thrid Gen Camaro in our local track Late Model series. It was very surprising to see a mid 80' Camaro on the track with all the 2000 Monte Carlo's Taurus's and intrepid's.
This year was the first year I saw it on the track. Unfortunately I don't have a picture of it. If it's out there next year, I'll drag this post up from the dead, and post a picture of it.

Yeah, I've been searching the net all over for these. Knew they existed on track, but never got to see em. Well, here they are.
