Blame it on the Obama Economy. "One Day" we'll have it better, then more folks will come out to meet.

I'm still kickin, not doing a lot of screamin these days. T/A's mothballed in the garage since March when things started getting fragile at work, and i've been laid off since June, off and on. No repair/mod money for me.

Re: Volusia County Florida!

I am still around. The exodus started a board www.cfgmp.com for Central Florida GM Performance. Not a whole lot going on there, but times suck for a lot right now financially.

We may be hosting something in the near future. I will post here!

As always, if anyone around needs help, I am always willing to help/trade a hand!

no i was driving home at night and was at like 2300rpm doing steady 80mph noticed the temp was a little hotter then normal but didnt think much of it, then heard a few pops a knock or two then a louder pop temp shot all the way over water was blowing out and oil covered everything. ripped the motor out the day after every rod was like a loose tooth, all the bearings were worn badly and it had rust in two cylinders. but the block looked fine. next pay check its getting dropped off at the machine shop to get everything checked for cracks, cam bearings and freeze plugs replace and the cylinders honed and cam polished.i still have those heads i got for you sitting around that i port and polished but never put on so i cant wait to drive her again. it just a little hard right now cause i just went to new york for a week and iam paying off a 66' impala

Re: Volusia County Florida!

Tomorrow there is a car show in NSB that starts at 4pm.

"The 2nd Saturday of every month Downtown Canal Street is host to a great Classic Car Show usually from 4:00pm until 7:00pm. The city closes off the street to all vehicle traffic with the exception of the Classic Cars themselves. This is an awesome event for the whole family to enjoy, there is food, a D.J. and most of the merchants are open for business during the event."

Sounds fun and if anyone wants to meet around 3:30pm and roll up in a thirdgen caravan let me know!

Yo guys im still alive... barely. Im in Orlando for school and its been hella busy as of now. I had the Iroc parked for almost 5 months due to some rear end noise and poor engine. Changed some plugs and wires and heavier oil in the rear and now its driveable.
