Don't know if i'll be able to make it out to that BlueChevyZ. Once my funds loosen up then i'll be able to make out of town events. Probably be a month or two till then.
Yea i agree, I hopefully should be switched over to my T/A from my RS this sat and funds are tight, school starts up this week also, i couldnt make it out to the BWW meet, no car lol but i should be all set to go for something soon, id like to get to bradenton also, make a few passes with the T/A possibly next month? or maybe we could do something that alternates, one month in tampa, the next at bradenton.
This saturday is a show at Setsers Custom Paint Shop, directions are on their website http://www.ronniesetsers.com/ . Starts at 6pm if anyone is interested in going.

just got the formula out of the paint shop this weekend. waiting on a replacement rotor and it will be out and about. going to try and make it to some local stuff soonish.
??? the bird came out nice!! Those are the Snipers correct?
I havent checked into the thread ina bit, but are we perhaps down for another mini meet? Maybe like on a Sunday afternoon? Its been failry nice outside, and Sundays seem like a doos day for everyone.
Being Thanksgiving is the 26th, how about we schedule something for Sunday the 15th? I think an open parking lot is needed so we don't have parking issues. It doesn't have to be somewhere to eat as usual either. Just a parking lot to chill out and talk is good enough.

Yea im down, we need to meet up, we havent done anything in a long time, and since my T/A is now roadworthy, im ready to get out and show it off. lol We should do something like last time, cept this time maybe at winghouse or something similar.
Chris, I know of only 2 winghouse's. The one off 301/I-4 which has a rediculously small parking lot, and then one off of 19 in (palm harbor?) which also has a small lot. I guess it doesn't matter as we probably won't pull as many cars as we did last time. But that's okay...just need to meet up.
im not in tampa but im in north port...if i can make it up sometime ill bring my 92 RS up...looks like garbage right now....but hoping to do a 350 swap and a paint job shortly
Hi y'all, I'm in Seminole. There is a Winghouse on Ulmerton also, easy to get to from the interstate. I think there is one on US 19 in Pinellas Park also, right near Gandy.

It's okay, bring it anyway. I don't think anyone and can say their car isn't a work in progress here. I know I've got a long ways to go.

Tim
Hmmm...thanks for posting Tim, I think the Ulmerton one would be easier for me to reach. I'm practically right down the road from the one on 301...but I don't mind making somewhat of a road trip out there. Ulmerton cool with everyone else?
This sunday at what? 5-6pm?
Hey Charcoal how have things been wait till you see what I did to my old wip :} its not red anymore :} I have some pics but they don't do the color right so have to wait and see if sunlight makes them better but i will post one for you to see :} ok talk to you guys soon and I will have to bring it out for the next meet up
What's up Killer. Let me guess, you painted it to match your pink rims? Look forward to seeing it. I'm hoping to have mine done sometime early next year, before the gathering. So is anyone going tomorrow? Winghouse off Ulmerton at say 5pm? I'm showing regardless if anyone posts or not.
I cant make it tomorrow but I will be going to the next one have to finish the hot neon pink paint lmao. I cant believe the color the rims are I took some cleaner to them and that's what they turned out looking like. The rims are all clean now but they still need a coat of paint as well as the door jams and stuff but so far its looking pretty nice :}
took a lot of work so far but I don't have a whole lot into the supplies so its better then what it did look like with the faded red and half of clear.
stay in touch and I will keep a eye on the board here.
I think my next project is to do the 4th gen dash swap I think looks fun!
I'm in Sarasota.... Just moved here a couple weeks ago from Phoenix, AZ. Spent more time on NastyZ28.com as I had an '81 2nd Gen that I sold before I moved here. Also sold my truck.. but will NEVER sell my '91 RS Vert!!
I hope to be spending more time on here, and getting the beast where I want it as funds allow. Would love to meet some local Camaro friends...
Good to see so many people new and old posting up. Welcome to Florida oyevayboy, i'm sure you'll enjoy the change in weather from dry heat to humid heat. I lived in El Paso, TX before moving to Florida...took a little time to get used to.

You like the Humid heat better then the Dry? I hated Fl. for this reason. I hate the 90% humidity days, etc....
Ive never been out west to experience the dry heat but I think I'd like it better then this FL. stuff. We just moved back so right now its great. Come Summer Im not gonna like it for awhile.
Well.... as a kid, I spent time in Dunnellon, outside of Ocala... on the Rainbow River... my heart has always belonged here... and now,, as 40 is quickly encroaching, I decided to make it back "home". My intentions are to grow old here with my 3rd Gen Now to find a 4th gen interior and a stroker engine.....

I was actually being sarcastic...guess I didn't express it very well. I prefer the dry heat over the humid heat, but it doesn't bother me as much as it used to.
I've been in the dry heat! if suckkkkk, think oven heat. atleast here you can walk over to the shade and it feels cooler. and if there's some wind blowing, it cools you even more.
out west its just hot always, since it drys your sweat before it does any good, walking over to the shade only blocks the sun, if the wind is blowing, its like having the heater on in your car. its blowing hot air in your face. I couldn't wait to get back to florida after that ****, and I work outside for a living, so I'm used to the heat but damn that sucked.

That is one bad thing about the dry heat, even with the windows down on the highway you still get hot air...at night though it cools down a lot and it's perfect...here in FL the humidity keeps you sweating even at night.
Its been awhile since my last post on here, school has kept me pretty busy.
Im wondering if any of you guys would be free to help me swap over my suspension + rear end from my old gutted camaro, to my new t/a sometime in dec/jan. Im planning on going to macdill afb since i have access to the lifts, but if anyone has any open space or anything like that maybe we can make a weekend out of it, ill bring some beer lol. Im just looking for some extra hands to help me do this all in one big swap as opposed to little by little. I live in an apt so doing it in my garage is out of the question.
Thanks, either post up here or shoot me a Pm if your interested.'

Yeah I know its short notice, but the racing bug has bitten a few people
Where.. Lakeland Dragstrip
When... Dec 5th, 5pm for TnT, and if ballzy to run the bracket races later in the evening.
Who.... Come one, Come all, you can either participate or show support for those that are participating
I'm open to help too.... although I don't have the space for it... I park on a driveway of sea shells.....
THanks guys, ill probably be looking at sometime round sat jan 9th, or the following weekend. Ive been horribly busy finishing the end of the semester. Im going to look into everything that i need and figure out some solid plans. I have access to mcdill AFB so as of now thats probably the fastest place to do it, i could get 2 lifts side by side to streamline things. Ill keep you guys posted.
Sounds like we have a fix-it-day. I normally have mon/wed off but I alternate weekends. One weekend I work 6:30am till at least 2:30(or later if I decide), and then the next weekend I work from 10-11am till 7pm. I can try and switch if needed though, just let us know Chris.
