Re: Georgia Boy.
Hey Im new too. I used to live in Marietta but now im in the keys.
I hope someone reads this but i have a question being new. I am lookin alot at stuff and obviously joining forums in interest because i WANT you buy a 3rd gen. I was pretty sure about getting one until i visited 3rdgen.org where everyone was aholes and Told me that 3rd gens are pieces of crap and im a trailertrash idiot is i buy one.
Well im not, im 16 and trying to buy a car instead of borrowing my friends tahoe. I like 3rd gens and ive been looking t/as. The dont cost much so i thot it was a good choice, i know they arent that powerful stock but ive looked at enough stuff to see they respond well to modding.
please someone let me know how they feel about them, it seems to me this site is more about third gens than 3rdgens.org but i dont know yet since im new. hopefully i havent found another group of people who wont tell me its a mistake and they are pieces of **** and always will be.

Hey sidescrollin19,
Good luck on your first Third Gen. Just make sure you protect it from the salt air. Any make of car can be crap, as old as these cars are most will need TLC. If you look on this site you will find some real nice cars. You will see as well you can take most any POS and make it as nice as you want. It is just going to cost ya. What car these days wont? Just try and get one that is not to beat up. I bought my to restore so it will take some time not a bad car just been sitting for a few years. I am looking a $4000 including the car price to get it into shape. I am going to do most if not all the work myself, just something I have always wanted to do.

i had a mark VIII with a blower on it and the guy had this car.
it had been completely stripped inside, and out even drivetrain for paint (same red) and he had put it back together partially im having to finish it
at least it s all new stuff so its nice to work on.
glad to be here ive already learned a few tricks that have brought my car along some

I reside in Savannah/Rincon back in forth down hwy 21 or 95 and 16 a lot, dail driver is the 89 Iroc until I get my 91 RS fixed. I would like to do a cruise in maybe at hooters off of 95 or moes in savannah. Rincon also puts on a show off the corner of 21 across from the for place, have not yet cruised in there.

Re: Georgia Boy.
ill be out of town this coming weekend going up north to visit the girls family. So the first sunday of January would be good for me. Hooters is good easy directions and decent parking. I guess just a meet and cruise in Grab a bite or so.
