Hot Rod Power Tour. Who's participating?
So the Hot Rod Power Tour is starting in Cocoa Beach FL this year, makes a pass through Valdosta GA, runs into Montgomery, AL, Nashville, TN and Indy. I'm thinking about taking the IROC-Z on a road trip! I might run it to Indy and back. The last leg of the tour goes into Detroit, but I guess I need to draw the line somewhere. Has anybody else made plans to get their 3rd gens out this summer on a road trip?

have 2 projects for my Z, a tranny swap, from A4 to a T56, and hoping for paint, if everything falls together, I'll try to make it as far as montgomery, I live in tampa

tranny swap has been pushed to the top of the list as my A4 crapped out on me this weekend, has to brought back home via rollback

Nope. I stopped in when it was leaving Kissimmee and heading to Englishtown a few years ago. I walked around the event at the convention center in Orlando and parked on the side of the road taking pictures north of Orlando as the cars drove by. It was cool and I'd like to at least do some of it.

I was at that one too, kissimmee, always wanted to do some of the cruise but work always gets in the way.

Less than a week away! Anybody made plans to attend? I'll be there Saturday morning with the IROC-Z. Sunday morning might be a different story. I might have the truck on that part of the tour.

I will be atleast at Indy....if you run into Davecs1 I probably wont be to far away, hope to see ya and jaw jack awhile if you have time and +1 on hoping the weather will be better than it has for the last couple of weeks.

The gf and I drove my 1983 Trans Am from Minnesota and got here in Cocoa Beach, FL on Thursday. I don't know if I saw your car there this morning or not. I know I saw a convertible Camaro with that color, but not a t-roof car. There have been numerous 3rd gen Camaros and one other 3rd gen Firebird. I'm planning on going back over to the PT party here in a lil bit. Laura got her *** kicked by the sun and is now taking a nap. LoL
