Beginning of april, it should be ready to fire.

when i had initially taken it apart(last october) it was gonna be for a head rebuild(new seals and a new head gaskets cause of a blown passenger head gasket), but i ended up doing a cam swap, new double roller timing chain and h2o pump, and some general cleaning and painting. well as i begin to put things together i see more and more of the plastic connectors busting & the vacuum lines as well.

In addition to all that i decided to install headers "simple" except i have no o2 sensor bung F%$#, I had originally intended to have a dual exhaust fabbed up but because of a time constraint (need to get this on the road) i had to drop the idea. so i opted for the heddman Y-pipe instead of having one made. I have no A/C so i removed the box and used the space for wiring, and made a vent so i could collect some outside air. and to keep from torching my plug wires i invested in some center bolt wire looms which to my surprise are attractive and dress up the engine.

I am still missing a few major things to actually fire it up, like the o2 bung, a breather for pass valve cover, a VSS and wire that in, some new induction hose, and my chip burner BURN1 which i ordered last Friday and some other misc. cheap stuff.

but here is what it looks like so far.

cause its all i can afford, i'd like to have a mini ram someday, but i can forsee a carb in the future, & possibly a carbed 350 with a TH350 trans. but thats for another day when $$$ isnt an issue. I already have the 350 engine and TH350 trans its just a matter of getting a Trans-Crossmember made and shoving it in.

Why would you need a crossmember made A th350 is a direct bolt in with B&M $70 kit. I just did it on my firebird. Stock crossmember and all

yes that is true but you don't need a custome crossmember wha you are going to need is a torque arm kit from b&m that cost about 80bucks and works great. thats all you will have to do.
