Hi everyone. There is a big rumor afloat about the upcoming Southern California TPI meeting being on Oct. 8. It will be combination of an open house celebration, birthday party and ? It will be held at Dyno Don's new facility. Stay tuned for further information.

Yes Allan you're correct. Next Saturday, October 8th at 4pm, we will be celebrating the grand opening of Dyno Don's new shop, as well as his birthday. He's turning a new decade, so bring your fire extinguishers in case the candles catch the cake on fire.

The new shop is near the 57/91 freeway interchange. From the 57, exit at Orangethorpe and head South on Melrose. From the 91, exit at Kraemer and head west on La Palma.

Start time will be 4pm so those that have to work during the day can make it. We'll be bar-b-q'ing hamburgers and hot dogs. Please bring some food/drinks to share. Instead of presents, please make a donation to the AARP, Don will need it if he ever retires. :rofl:

Everyone is invited, so come on down and join in the celebration.

If you have any wall-sized pictures or posters of thirdgens/corvettes/tpi engines you would like to donate to hang on the walls, that would be great.

Sorry you guys could not make it. I had a wonderful time. Excellent food with a peach cobbler to die for. I also got to meet some new people and of course talk cars and motors.

Thanks to everyone that attended my B'day & Grand Opening of my new facility.

Best party I have had in years, enjoyed seeing everybody.

I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did.

Entering the next decade truely makes me feel life has given me a fresh start. (now if I can just stay healthy)
